I've been using this leave-in for about 4 years now. It does wonders for my hair & I can tell a HUGE difference when I don't use it! My hair feels great and looks healthy with this stuff! It has a thick consistency and it's a heavier leave-in, so I'd start with a little & add more if needed. If you have thin hair, I'd suggest adding water to the bottle & shake well before use. My daughter has thin straight hair and it's too much for her hair if she doesn't add water to her bottle.
I have 2 nieces with 3B & 3C hair and this is the ONLY detangler/leave-in that works for them. And I've tried them all from expensive to cheap!
