Pulp Riot is easier to apply, it's more vibrant, it lasts longer, and it fades better. For the brightest and truest color tone results, apply on pre-lightened hair. Shades can all be mixed with each other to create custom colors. Clear can be used to dilute colors to make them lighter or pastel and Noir (black) can be added to other colors to make them darker. How to Use

I’ve dyed my hair plenty of times and followed the directions. Used about half the tube. Left it on 40 minutes, rinsed with cool water... nothing. Hair is exactly the same as it was before dying. It does smell really nice though.

Absinthe is a weird color

This review is for Absinthe, the dark green. It's a very "translucent" type of green - a lot of newer hair dye brands have a green like this, and it's always sort of an awkward color because it's not very pigmented and has a muddy grayish undertone. Due to not being a very pigmented type of color, it washes out relatively quickly. For me, it looked good for about 4 washes with a high quality sulfate-free shampoo. You might want to mix this one with Aquatic to deepen it and give it more longevity, although I actually like to mix it with GDY Kowabunga to make it more pigmented.

The best semi-permanent color

I love to color my hair fun, vivid colors and have used my share of product lines (punky color, manic panic, Prana, Joico to name a few). A couple of years ago I was introduced to Pulp Riot and have never looked back. First, their color selection is on point, and you can mix & match to make your own desired color. Their colors have never dried out my hair and best of all they dont color transfer like others I have used in the past. I will say that if you lift your hair to a high level blonde I suggest using a filler or olaplex during the dyeing process to prevent slippage near the ends as old processed hair tends to do that. Go rock your hair and have fun with it !
