Intergalactic styles under 10 minutes proves that the force is actually with you. In honor of May the Fourth our beauty advisors came up with a quick Star Wars inspired hair style to incorporate your inner Leia on a daily basis. This look is also great for social events to look put together but not spend time and money in the process.
Step 1: Section hair into 4 sections. Use a clip, hair tie, bobby pin, or whatever you have laying around, to keep sections from running into each other.
Step 2: Start by braiding the sections and securing ends with an elastic band. Our beauty advisors did a 3-strand braid for the front braids, and to add dimension the back braids were started as a french braid and ends were fishtailed. Feel free to do all the braids as a regular braid if you find it a little too difficult to do on your own, you'll get the same kind of feel either way.
Step 3: Now that you have all 4 braids, you're going to gently pull out the braid from the sides to add volume. This step is totally optional, if bigger braids aren't your thing you can skip this step.
Step 4: We're going to start pinning up the braids to create our up-do. Take one of the middle braids and take it across to the opposite side. We started ours on the left side, so we took the second braid on the left and pinned it to the right side of the head. Follow this step for the other middle braid, in our case we would be taking the right braid and bring it to the left side of the head. It's okay for the braids to slightly cover each other. Step 4a: At this point you should have Yoda tails, you're simply going to fold them back them and pin.
