Products I can’t live without: It’s a 10 Leave In Potion Plus Keratin is always in my hair care routine, no matter what. Whether I am blowing out my hair, curling it, or letting it air dry, my hair would not survive without it. I tried switching out for another leave in cream, and boy did I regret it. I always like to finish my blowouts with an oil (after my hair 90% dry, I apply my oil). I have used many different oils, some I’ve liked, and some I haven’t. Currently, my go to oil is the Oil Reflections by Wella. It makes my ends super silky and smooth. It gives the perfect finish to any blowout. Lastly, I have no idea how I would ever live without nail polish! I am not loyal to any one brand, I love Essie and OPI with all of my heart, but it’s really my base coat and top coat that has me addicted to polish. I always, always, ALWAYS, use Nails Alive Gooey Base Coat, two coats of my polish (ok, sometimes three, because let’s be honest, I’m a disaster when I paint my nails), and I finish my manicure (or pedicure) with Seche Vite. This combination of base coat and top coat will give you a week long manicure that some people may even mistake for a gel mani!

Other products that I always have on hand: We all have those products that we keep on hand, like hairsprays, shine sprays, and other styling tools. I usually always have different hairsprays on hand, for the different styles that I create. For days that I create curls, whether they are tight or big, loose waves, I usually always use my Nioxin Extra Hold Hairspray. I love this hairspray because Nioxin is a line that was created for fine/thinning hair which makes this hairspray super light, but has the perfect hold to keep my curls intact all day without weighing it down or getting stiff. If I’m creating an updo, like a messy sock bun, I always spray my bun with Sexy Hair Spray and Play. It is a little stickier than the Nioxin, giving it the perfect hold for updo’s. It helps me create a look that lasts all day, but you’d never know there was hairspray there. I also always, always, have a mask on hand for weekly treatment. I usually alternate between different treatments, some of my favorites are Pureology Strength Cure Masque, It’s a 10 Deep Conditioner Plus Keratin, and Redken Diamond Oil Deep Facets Intensive Treatment. Masks are vital to keep your hair healthy. They help repair daily damage, while adding moisture and shine.

Products I can’t live without: One product I would not be able to survive without is the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. It is such a versatile pencil, that it is a must have for any makeup bag. You can use it as an eye shadow base to help adhere your other shadows and also because it is white, it help give your eye shadows a much truer color on your eyes. I also use the Jumbo Eye Pencil to line my inner waterline to for a brightening effect. Another must have for everyday is the NYX Matte Setting Spray. This setting spray keeps the makeup from melting away, and keeps you matte all day long. Prefer a dewy finish? Try NYX Dewy Setting Spray. Not only should you set your makeup for long last wear, but you should always set your hair before you walk out the door. My favorite spray for everyday use is the Sexy Hair Weather Proof Humidity Resistant Spray. My hair, like so many others, gets very frizzy, and this spray helps block out humidity and locks my style in place. Lastly, I don’t know how my hair would endure everything I put it through without It’s a 10 Leave In for Blondes. This product does everything I need it to do; it gives my hair heat protection, it detangles, de-frizzes, protects against UV rays, and adds so much moisture and shine to my hair. [Tip: during the summer months, keep this in your beach bag to prevent damage at the beach or pool!]

Other products that I always have on hand: Every six weeks, I get my color done and it is extremely blonde, so it is important to maintain that color in between salon visits. To do this, I use Clairol Shimmer Lights. It is a deep purple shampoo, that with every use deposits small amounts of purple pigment into my hair to help neutralize yellow tones. [Don’t worry, it will not turn your hair purple] I also incorporate a mask into my routine once or twice a week; it keeps my hair strong and soft while preventing breakage. My favorite is the L’Anza Healing Color Care Trauma Treatment. It’s great because not only can you use it in the shower as a rinse out treatment, but you can use it on wet hair for an intense leave in treatment. If I am blow drying my hair, I have to have Sebastian Whipped Crème! It is a super lightweight styling mousse that helps protect my hair but is also rich in proteins, leaving my hair conditioned and volumized. After I am done blowing out my hair, I like to spray it with Kenra Dry Texture Spray. I use this to help give my many layers tons of texture.
