If you have curly hair, chances are you have either tried or at least heard of Redken’s Curvaceous Collection. A best seller for those with any type of curly hair, their line has recently upgraded its packaging and introduced a few new products to their already popular line. Don’t fret if you can’t find your favorite products! Here’s a little information on the line, for those who don’t know:
-It is formulated for all curly hair types, ranging from wavy to even the most spiral curls.
-Thanks to the curl memory complex, it strengthens, moisturizes and reactivates the shape of curls for an unbeatable look.
-The most important ingredients to help you achieve a perfect look are sugar crystals (to reactivate your shape), moringa oil (to restore moisture), and a UV filter (to help protect from UV rays).
Although they have kept some of their products, including the Conditioner (which can still be left in or rinsed out), the Cream Shampoo (still the same product, it is now called Low Foam Shampoo), as well as the popular styling products Full Swirl (for curls), Ringlet (for spiral curls), and Wind Up (for waves), there are a few newbies in the market. The only discontinued product in the line is the Wave Ahead Texturizing Mousse.
Let’s talk about some of the new products, shall we?
High Foam Cleanser: It is a lightweight but high foam cleanser that will give moisture from top to bottom. It is still sulfate and paraben free, which protects color treated hair as well! It will define and give your curls bounce without being too heavy.
No Foam Highly Conditioning Cleanser: Cleansing conditioners are becoming more popular (check out our blog post [here] talking about this!). This specific cleansing conditioner will cleanse curly hair and give you moisture from top to bottom.
Curl Refiner: Your go to primer before styling curly hair. It is a moisturizing and priming cream for prepping your hair before styling. It will define curls before you style for a disciplined but perfect look.
CCC (Climate Control Caring) Spray: The name says it all! This spray gel is a climate-controlling product to help define and refine your curls with one step. It can be used throughout the day as well for a refresher.
Spiral Lock: This is perfect for those with kinky and spiral curls. It is a high hold gel that is perfect for knocking out those kinks and defining tight curls to block out humidity.
